Ber's wedding came & past so quickly...mths ago (approx. 6 mths ago) she was gleefully annoucing that she'll be getting married in dec. Attended her wedding last Sunday, which was held at the Civil Service Club Hilltop Garden Ballroom. Ironically, it was a wedding lunch we attended as suppose to the typical traditional wedding dinner. She had her solemnization done together with the lunch so we were all there to witness the moment she commit to her vows & promises for the one she love. Beautiful moment i must say. I guess the most emotive part of the ceremony was when they both had to delcare their love by saying "I Love U!" loudly to each other in front some 200 - 300 guest? i swear my goosebumps popped up immediately after tt. I looked at him & told him never to make me do this in front of sooooooooo many peeps k.
We were treated to a 8 course meal which included the usual must-have, Sharks Fin, Cold Dish, Cod Fish......But food was decent, nothing fantastic. I wanted to snap more pictures but was dumb enough to bring a low battery life camera. We were so late so we had to cab to Hilltop Garden & cldnt stop by anywhere to buy Batteries!!!! PISSED! Then i bring the camera for fug? I wasn't gonna let that affect my mood that day, so i was contented to know someone invented the camera phone.
That faithful day, we went to Marina Barrage to enjoy some quality time with each other. That wasn't our initial plan, we had in mind to go down to PS to catch a movie & have dinner. Boring shit right? i know! So we hopped into the cab thinking we were gonna go PS when the uncle blurt out: "Have you been to the newly opened Marina Bay? They just open a place called the Marina Barrage" It has never cross our mind coz' we always thought the place was under heavy construction work. So he went on blabbering about the place. And we just looked at each other & said "why not?!"
Scenery there was breathe taking..extremely nice place to fly kite. Sun was glaring but still windy at the peak. You'll be treated to the serenity of the sea view. The place was of coz pack with peeps, s'porean will always venture for new things. One bad thing about the place was that it is extremely inaccessible for those who do not have a transport of their own or the very least sting on cab fares. Coz' getting in by public transport is a hell lotza trouble.
Alrighty..i think i yack tooo much..let the pics yack then...
