Tuesday is school day..After only a week...am back to school again. This term is especially taxing for me as i have classes on both tues & wed back to back. No joke..which means very tight deadline for doing both individual assignment as well as exams for the two module is soooo close that you can't even see any loop hole..well its not like i haven't been thru that during my dip days.
Anyway, was on my way to Eunos to meet my graphic designer when i stumbled across something interesting. I was sitting across this 3 elderly uncle & aunties who are gaping & arguing over gadgets & technology they have. Their conversation is so ironic that you will not believe that it came out of their mouth...really!

Left - Right: know-it-all & tech savvy ah pek/ nonchalant Obasang/ act-like-he-know ah gong

know-it-all & tech savvy ah pek: (listening to his Mp3)
act-like-he-know ah gong: what is this? laydio ah? (laydiao aka radio)
know-it-all & tech savvy ah pek: bo la...this is Mp3 lai ei
nonchalant Obasang: Ooohh...
act-like-he-know ah gong: Oohh...dian wei(hp) also have mp3
know-it-all & tech savvy ah pek: wu la...but ai lecord(record) from computer, u know anot?! now also got mp4 liao
act-like-he-know ah gong: see meh..bo la...dian wei don't have
nonchalant Obasang: i dunno la..wu meh?
know-it-all & tech savvy ah pek: (ignore him) & continue to listen to his mp3, playing deng lee jun's song
act-like-he-know ah gong: let me hear lei..(took the mp3 over)
nonchalant Obasang: help act-like-he-know ah gong hold the mp3
So who's right & who's wrong? Who's more tech savvy here? i suppose know-it-all ah pek knows more. The fact that he knows how to 'lecord' the songs into the mp3 is pretty impressive le..i think act-like-he-know ah gong also do know his technology. Well..at least he knows that mobile phones do carry mp3 now?!
i finally reached Eunos and my manager reached shortly. We were searching for the POSB atm when we chanced upon a jap eating house. Not very well furnished or should i say grand but their sushi & sashimi is selling at a very reasonable price. What's more its fresher than the one i had at Waraku. 4 slices of thick & succulent salmon sashimi cost only $3...a tray of sushi consisting unagi, egg, prawn, salmon and crab mayo sushi only cost $2.50. Apart from sushi, they do serve other jap cuisine. The place is highly accessible, its not chuck away in the wilderness of the heartland area. Its just beside the train station, once you get out turn left & walk down a few blks of shop, you'll see the shop. However, the crampy small shop makes it difficult to dine in. It only allows about maximum 6 peeps.
I am craving for Salmon Sashimi!!!

Cheers!
